How fees are set

Our fees follow the Ontario Dental Association suggested fee guide. Your exact fee depends on the procedure, its complexity and the type of anesthesia you choose.

At your consultation, your surgeon explains your treatment and you receive a written estimate before anything is booked.

Your written estimate covers:

‍

  • Your consultation and any imaging, such as a 3D CBCT scan
  • The surgical procedure
  • Sedation or general anesthesia, if you choose it (anesthesia fees are based on time)
  • Materials such as bone graft or implant components, when needed

Questions about an estimate? Our patient coordinators are happy to walk you through it.

Insurance and pre-determination

  • Pre-determination – before treatment, we send your treatment plan to your insurer so you know what your plan covers.
  • Your plan decides coverage – coverage varies from plan to plan, and your insurer, not our office, decides what is covered.
  • Bring your details – please bring your insurance card and policy information to your consultation.
  • No referral needed – you can book a consultation directly, even without a referral from your dentist.

Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)

We accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan. Some procedures need approval from the plan before treatment, and some may involve a co-payment depending on your family income.

Bring your CDCP member card to your consultation and we'll confirm what the plan covers for your treatment.
